About Us
One can enjoy and amaze the faszinating under water world of the Algarve with Diver's Cove ever since 1992. It is the first and oldes PADI-Divecenter in southern Portugal. By now thousends of divers and their famillies are confinced by the professionell and familly - friendly ambiente. Diving is not just the parte one experiences by breathing under water. It starts long before the first trip to the dive spot and "survives" its euphory with a so called "Deko - beer" afterwards. Since diving with Diver's Cove includes all familly and friends, especially children, it is an unforgettable experience for everyone.
In the beginning of 2012 Janina took over the management of the dive center. The professionell physical education and art teacher and many years of expereance working in the stranger, specially in Brasil and Colombia, transmites her enthusiasm of an happy and easygoing life and the incredable country of Portugal, its people, animals and plants to her clients. So noone is surprised that she especially enjoys teaching little divers on their first steps of diving until preparing expereanced divers for rescue dives.
Most important for Diver's Cove is to have loads of fun diving secure/save. Not just diving as a sport, but also enjoying the water, saving the nature and includeing all familly especially children, are very important for us. We don`t just want to meet new divers, we would like to make new friends. That is the real wealth in life. Be aware that diving with Diver's Cove will be in your mind for a long time.
Our dive center is located in front of the reception of the hotel area of Quinta do Paraíso in Praia do Carvoeiro. Here one can gaze in amazement the original rocky Algarve 50 km west of Faro. Still the friendly ambient of a former fishertown with its smaller houses and hotels invites with its romantic views of beaches and wonderful landscape. One can escape into the peaceful and layedback shore of this part of the Algarve.
Our dive training is done inside the nice pools of the hotel Quinta do Paraíso and the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve. We also offer boat dives on the reefs in front of Lagos and Sagres. Our advanced divers have the possibility to join us for unforgettable dives on the big wrecks in front of Alvor. The corvette "Oliveira do Carmo" and ..."Zambeze" , ... in 30m are a world wide unique dive spot for expereanced divers.
